That’s where we come in—welcome to ETC Consignments!

At ETC Consignments, we make it easy. Bring us your gently used items, and we’ll handle the rest. From pricing to selling, we do all the work for you. You’ll earn a 60/40 split, depending on the sale price of your items.

How It Works

We take consignments by appointment only.
We schedule appointments on a month-to-month basis. Scheduling for each month opens on the 1st, and appointments are available from the 11th through the end of the month. To secure a preferred time slot, we recommend booking as early in the month as possible. Please note that Saturday appointments are in higher demand and tend to fill up more quickly than weekday appointments.

Each appointment allows us to review up to 30 items. At the beginning of each month, you may schedule up to two appointments on different days. Upon attending your first appointment, and if availability allows, you will have the option to book a third appointment. Similarly, after your second appointment, you may book a fourth, subject to availability. This pattern may continue as long as there are available appointment slots.

At your very first appointment, you will receive a consignment contract to review and complete. A one-time consignor fee of $5 will be due at that time, which will cover your account for its lifetime.


How Does My Item's Life Cycle Work?

Once you give us your items it'll typically take about a week or two for us to price your items & get them out on the floor.

At that point they will remain at full price for a month. Once a month has passed it will drop down to 25% off. Another month it'll drop down to 50%. On the final month it'll drop down to 75% off.

Once it hits 75% off you are eligible to come pick up any of your remaining items that have not sold. If you choose to leave your remaining items with us, we will eventually drop them to 90% off. If your items still don't sell we will collect them off the floor and donate them to the 🐱 WSPCA 🐶 or other specific needs in the community.

So What About Getting Paid? 🤑

It's a 60/40 split. Any item that sells for under $100 you will receive 40%. Any item that sells for over $100 you will receive 60%.

Once your item sells it takes about a week for that money to land in your consignor account which can be used for shopping at ETC or money in your pocket. Any amount under $100 can be picked up in cash during business hours. If you accrue $100 or more you simply need to call or stop by to put in for a check.

Checks are cut every Friday for those requested. If you contact us towards the beginning of the week, your check will be there that Friday. If you contact us towards the end of the week, your check will be there the following Friday.

Consignor funds are avaliable up to one year after inactivity.

How do I Pick up My Remaining Items?

We have over 11,000 consignors, because of this we are unable to contact monthly every account. So it is on our consignors to check in on their account & items. Simply give us a call, email or stop by to check.

Once your items hit 75% off you can come into the store to pick up your remaining items. Stop by the register and ask to have a pick list printed. We will print a list of all your remaining items. We will help as much as we're able, but going around the store to find your items is primarily your responsibility.

How Should I Bring Items In?

✔️ We'll look at a total of 30 items per appointment.

✔️ Items that require them should include working light bulbs and/or batteries.

✔️ All items must be thoroughly cleaned.

✔️ Used small appliances must be free of any grease or food remnants.

✔️ We require all clothes to be brought in on hangers. You will receive your hangers back. It simply makes going through your clothes more efficient; allowing us to get through your items within your 15 minute time slot. Pro-Tip: Bring a spare bag or box for any loose hangers that will be returned to you.

✔️ Ensure clothes have their size/brand tags and are free of rips, tears, stains, foul odors, pet hair, deodorant marks & pilling.

What About Furniture?

Furniture works on a completely separate process from our clothes & small items. All you need to do for furniture is take some decent photos of it and email them to [email protected]. This email will go straight to the owners. If they approve your items you are welcome to drop them off during business hours at your leisure. Please ensure that you include close up photos of all wear & tear or defects. Approval is only based off the photos you send, if we notice issues we could not see prior from the photos the items will be sent home with you. We want to ensure everyone is happy so please be thorough with your photos!

We kindly ask for all furniture to be cleaned in 'on floor/ready to sell' condition.
